Heading towards our high camp in upper Royal Basin, the clouds envelope
everything.

Our base camp at sunrise, lucky as the sun’s rays hit the
sky the clouds dispersed and we were able to see Mt. Deception (left) and Martin
Peak right. Deception is the second highest peak in the Olympics, but Martin appears
larger due to its proximity.

degrees at times but solid.
