I attended Outdoor Retailer Winter Market for the first time
this past week in Salt Lake City. It was amazing. The giddy excitement of a gear
junky was high. It was hard to stay focused in-between the brightly colored
booths of jackets, boots, tents, skies, splitboards etc. Exciting new innovations
called from every corner as I wondered, lost in the maze of outdoor adventure heaven.
I had a great time getting to see next year’s winter gear and passing out cards
to perspective clients.
One of the best parts of the event was the SheJumps Flylow
Happy Hour. SheJumps is an organization promoting women’s participation in
outdoor sports. Based in Salt Lake City OR was a great venue for us women of
